Apartment Review for Regents La Jolla - La Jolla, CA

The Monarch Group is trying to sell Regents La Jolla for a condo conversion. Two months ago all tenants received a notice from the Community Manager advising of inspections by buiding inspectors. This notice was delivered only 24 hours before the inspections, and TWO DAYS after the date on the notice! That prospective sale fell through but now another prospect is on the horizon. So this week, the w/o 7/26/04, another round of apartment inspections began, this time with 48 hours' written notice. If you travel out-of-town for work, or go on vacation, be prepared to ALWAYS leave your apartment in good order and stow away all valuables and personal items. You never know when your apartment is going to be inspected on short notice.
