Apartment Review for Regents La Jolla - La Jolla, CA

My husband and I lived here for a year-and-a-half. We rented an end unit and were forever hearing the front gate open and SLAM shut at all hours - especially when the college students were having parties that Security turned a deaf ear to. We could also hear people moving in/out in the middle of the night. EVERY LITTLE NOISE echoes throughout the Courtyard and into your Apartment. People tend to gather and take pictures/hangout near the fountain in the center of the courtyard. One of the girls in the Management Office had a crush on my husband and made it obvious to both him and me, making it very uncomfortable for both of us whenever we needed to go into the Management office to handle anything (pay rent, pick up a package, etc.) The workout facility and movie theatre ar really nice, as well as the reserved underground parking, but there were several car, motorcycle, and bicycle thefts while we lived there. Also, the Maintenance staff was AWESOME! We needed to have our fireplace starter fixed and our garbage disposal froze up one time. Their response was very quick and the man who responded was so nice and efficient. Perhaps if we lived in another unit we would have had a better experience. however, you do need to watch out for the college kids and their parties.
